Customs/FYCO measurement

Containers that are selected for a physical control have to be measured by a specialist before they are opened. He is qualified to mark the container as ‘safe to enter’. Customs have got a couple of requirements for the measurement and determines the allowed measurement techniques. The time between the executed gas measurement/customs measurement and check by the customs officer can be a maximum of two hours. In addition, it is established in rules which harmful gases and fumes have to be checked. Al these gases and fumes are added to the measurement process of EWS Gas measurement.
